Fruit was hand harvested across March and gently crushed into open fermenters for vinification. No additions were made to the wine components and fermentation was conducted by wild yeast. The Grenache component was sourced from the prized pressings component during basket pressing the main ferment. The other smaller components were also sourced from the pressings of premium batches. The wine was blended early to allow harmonious maturation. A wine alive with vibrant red lolly and spice, the palate is finely elegant with a rich backbone. The tannins are soft and yet layers of complexity make the wine alluring and enticing. A beautifully perfumed wine from our extraordinary estate block.
Only 30 dozen made, it can be enjoyed early but will cellar for many years.
